Myles Powell Completes SheaMoisture Men Trailblazers' Business Program!

Union Kitchen Accelerator Member, Myles Powell, founder of Myles Comfort Foods is a boss! He has officially completed The SheaMoisture Men Trailblazers' Business Education Program; an incredible accomplishment. Myles began his entrepreneurial journey by working with our Accelerator team. By leveraging the resources of the Union Kitchen Ecosystem Myles developed a mission, vision, and actionable strategy for his brand. He then built his local support base in our retail stores and distribution. Myles Comfort Food can now be found in 1,200 major retailers nationwide including Target, Whole Foods Market, and Sprouts Market!

Myles Comfort Foods was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to create delicious, high-quality frozen foods that bring comfort to every meal. He continues to work towards this goal while also improving himself, his brand, and expanding his network. 

The Gathering Spot (TGS) partnered with SheaMoisture Men to establish the Trailblazers: A Small Business Fellowship Program. TGS and SheaMoisture Men built a scalable fellowship that launched in Atlanta to serve an often neglected group — Black male entrepreneurs. The Gathering Spot and SheaMoisture Men identified twenty Black, male identifying small business owners to represent the first cohort and Myles was one of them! Through dedicated programming and intentional connections over a 6-month Fellowship, Myles gained important knowledge and was connected with individuals that will aid him in bringing his business to the next level. 

When you surround yourself with like minded people, like Myles did with this program, amazing things can happen - successes, failures, and lessons learned are shared and connections are made.  It is through these connections and share insights that businesses continue to grow and entrepreneurs continue to learn.
