Cullen Gilchrist, Union Kitchen Founder, Judges at Good Food Awards

Union Kitchen, a Washington, D.C. based Food Business Accelerator, joined this year's highly anticipated Good Food Awards hosted and organized by the Good Food Foundation. Cullen Gilchrist, the Founder and CEO of Union Kitchen, attended as both a judge and speaker at the event. The Good Food Awards is an annual celebration that recognizes the exceptional achievements of food producers, farmers, and entrepreneurs who exemplify excellence, sustainability, and social responsibility.

The Good Food Foundation organizes this epic three day awards event for the public and the trade to meet, celebrate, taste, and buy from nearly 200 winners: the exceptional food crafter who top the charts and meet the environmental and social responsibility standards of the good food awards.

After an extensive blind tasting by a panel of 200 judges, only 357 finalists were selected to make the cut. These exceptional food crafters were celebrated at the Good Food Awards ceremony, where winners in 18 categories were announced. Among the categories are makers of fine salamis, cheeses, honey, jams, tinned fish, and snacks, showcasing the diverse array of talented producers and entrepreneurs within the industry.

Union Kitchen's commitment to entrepreneurship is at the forefront of their mission to build successful food businesses. Under the leadership and guidance of Cullen Gilchrist, Union Kitchen has worked with over 180 companies, including DC favorites Compass Coffee, Snacklins, Maspanadas, and Caribe Juice, all companies that have achieved valuations well over $15m in the last year.

Cullen Gilchrist's involvement as a judge and speaker at the Good Food Awards further showcases Union Kitchen's expertise and leadership in the industry. His insights and contributions celebrate innovation within the culinary world.
