Union Kitchen Opening 5th DMV Store, First in Virginia!

Union Kitchen is opening its 5th location at Ballston Quarter (4102 Wilson Blvd) Arlington, VA! This is Union Kitchen's first store opening outside of The District and will be located just around the corner from Compass Coffee, in Ballston, Virginia. That means more snacks, more beloved Made in DC products, and lots (lots!) of Blind Dog chocolate chip cookies.

Union Kitchen's stores are part of Union Kitchen's food and beverage business accelerator. Union Kitchen builds CPG brands through their Kitchen, Stores, and Distribution. Since opening in 2012, Union Kitchen has worked with over 650 local food businesses, helping them to launch locally, grow regionally, and scale nationally. These businesses include many DC favorites, from Compass Coffee and Snacklins to Eat PizzaMas Panadas, and Swapples.

At the new Union Kitchen store customer feedback is taken to a whole new level! When customers provide feedback or recommendations about Accelerator Member products, they may just see their feedback come to life, whether it's new packaging, flavors, or something entirely new! This is because Union Kitchen is always striving to make things people want. Take the breakfast sandwiches for example, which can be fashioned on a bun made my local maker Poppy's Stuffed Bagels or done Walt's Way on a waffle bun made by accelerator member Walt's Waffles

When lunchtime hits, Union Kitchen is the perfect place to pick up a classic sandwich like a meatball sub or Italian hoagie. What makes the Union Kitchen stores really special is that customers can pair their lunch with a classic coca-cola or with a locally made option, like Everyday Kombucha.

The five Union Kitchen Stores showcase all the amazing products coming out of the DC food ecosystem, along with everyday classics - fresh coffee, a large menu with food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and classic convenience store snacks - to get customers through the day.

Union Kitchen began with the Bling Dog Chocolate Chip Cookies. To celebrate, they will be giving out free cookies to customers all of opening day!

To maintain the safety of the community, Union Kitchen will be providing gloves for visitors to use while shopping, require face masks at all times, and installing plexiglass barriers at ordering counters.

The newest location is open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm. Stop by, check out the new space, and get a free cookie!
